Northern Pacific Conference
The Northern Pacific Conference was a baseball conference that existed from 1975 to 1981.
Founding members were University of Idaho and Boise State University from the Big Sky Conference which stopped sponsoring the sport in 1974, Gonzaga University, University of Portland and Seattle University from the West Coast Conference, independent Portland State University and University of Puget Sound which was moving up from Division II. The conference remained at 7 schools through 1979.
Eastern Washington University joined the conference in 1980. After the 1980 season Boise State, Idaho, and Seattle all dropped baseball, leaving the conference at 5 teams for 1981. In 1982, Gonzaga, Portland, Portland State, and Eastern Washington moved into the Pac-10 Conference and Puget Sound dropped down to the NAIA level.
