Great Midwest Conference
The Great Midwest Conference was a short lived Division-I conference formed in 1991. Saint Louis University left the Midwestern Collegiate Conference, the University of Alabama-Birmingham left the Sun Belt Conference, and both Memphis State University and University of Cincinnati left the Metro Conference to form the conference. Additionally, DePaul University and Marquette University were non-baseball playing members of the conference.
In 1994, the University of Dayton joined from the MCC to bring the conference up to 5 teams. After four seasons, the conference merged with the Metro Conference to form Conference USA in 1996.
