The 22-year-old debuted in the opener, starting in right field and hitting 7th. He showed he certainly belonged, not getting retired by Sweden. He got hit by a Jakob Syrén pitch his first time, then doubled his next time up (driven in by Jakub Hajtmar) and singled in the 6th. In the 8th, he doubled off Julius Hopkins to drive in Vojtěch Menšík and was driven in by Hejma to finish 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and a RBI.
