Biographical Information[edit]

Aaron Singh has played for the British national team.

Singh hit .275/.371/.350 as a college freshman, .364/.480/.534 as a sophomore, .355/.437/.587 as a junior (48 R in 46 G) and .315/.432/.490 as a senior (41 R in 40 G). [1] He then coached at Ottawa University Arizona. [2]

Starting at short for Britain in the 2021 European Championship, he was their top offensive performer. He drew a walk from French national team veteran Owen Ozanich his first trip to the plate then singled the next time. In Britain's 7-6 win over Russia (critical to them finishing in the top half of the standings), he homered off Denis Leonov and finished a triple shy of a cycle, scoring three times. In the 5th/6th place game, he doubled twice, scored and drove in a run in a 8-5 loss to Czecia. He finished the Euros at .455/.538/.818 with five doubles and six runs in six games, fielding .893. He led Britain in hits (2 ahead of Alex Crosby and Kennard Dawson), doubles (2 ahead of Gabriel Rincones Jr.), total bases (18, 6 ahead of Dawson), average (.074 ahead of Dawson), slugging (.247 ahead of Dawson), OBP (.058 ahead of Shamoy Christopher) and OPS (376 ahead of Dawson). For the Euros as a whole, he tied for 5th in hits, led in doubles, tied Ray-Patrick Didder and Dashenko Ricardo for 7th in total bases, tied Lou Helmig for 9th in average, was 9th in slugging (between Assaf Lowengart and Didder) and was 7th in OPS.
