Biographical Information[edit]

Kennard Dawson has played for the British national team.

Dawson batted .278/.316/.333 for Britain in the 2021 U-23 European Championship. [1] He was the first player from the British Virgin Islands to play for Britain's U-23 team and the second overall to suit up for Britain at any level; Nateshon Thomas had played for the British senior national team in 2016 and 2019. [2]

For the 2021 European Championship, he joined Thomas on Britain's senior national team and they were accompanied by two other British Virgin Islanders in Shamoy Christopher and Demoi Hodge. He was Britain's starting left fielder. In their opener, he hit 8th against France. His first time up, facing Owen Ozanich, he hit into a force to score Alex Crosby with the game's first run. His first hit was a triple off Eric Moore. He finished the event at .381/.409/.571 with two triples and four RBI in six games, handling four putouts error-free. He was second in the tourney in triples (one behind Axel Poesmans) and was second on Britain in OPS (behind Aaron Singh). [3] He hit .369/.444/.613 for East Georgia State in 2022.
