Kalamazoo, MI
Kalamazoo is located in southwestern Michigan, 20 miles west of Battle Creek, MI, 40 miles south of Grand Rapids, MI and 40 miles east of St. Joseph, MI and Benton Harbor, MI. The most famous ballplayer to come out of Kalamazoo is Derek Jeter, who was born in New Jersey but grew up here.
Kalamazoo was the site of the first two editions of the College World Series, in 1947 and 1948.
