Biographical Information[edit]
Chris Burkam was named after U.S. Senator Chauncey De Pew, but for whatever reason preferred to be known as "Chris". He appeared in one game in the major leagues, striking out against Hooks Dauss of the Detroit Tigers as a pinch hitter with the St. Louis Browns.
