2022 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award

The 2022 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award went to Orix Buffaloes ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto, the first repeat pitching Triple Crown winner in NPB history. He defended his MVP title with nearly identical numbers (15-5, 1.68, 205 K in 193 IP) to a year prior. In addition to his Triple Crown, he also led in innings, complete games and shutouts.
