2004 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award
The 2004 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award went to Softbank Hawks star Nobuhiko Matsunaka handily, as Matsunaka had won a Triple Crown (.358, 44 HR, 120 RBI) and also led the PL in runs. Hisashi Iwakuma was the last Kintetsu Buffaloes player to receive a vote, as the team merged with the Orix BlueWave to form the Orix Buffaloes.
