1959 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award
The 1959 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award went to Nankai Hawks ace Tadashi Sugiura (38-4, 1.40), who became the first PL pitcher to led the league in wins, Ks, ERA, shutouts and winning percentage in the same season. He won all 141 votes.
