The 2003 Serie A1 championship was won by Italeri Bologna. It was their sixth scudetto and first since 1984. Bologna dominated the season, finishing with the best record (42-12) and lost only two games in the playoffs. They also had the highest team batting average (.324) and the best team ERA (2.82). C Nilson Antigua was named Italian Series MVP.

2003 was the first time in five years that any team other than Semenzato Rimini or Caffe Danesi Nettuno had won the championship.
