Biographical Information

Christian Catanoso was in the minor independent South Shore Coast League for six years out college. He is listed on baseball.it as signing with the Seattle Mariners and playing in AA but this is not confirmed in any other source so far. Baseball.it also says he played in the 1995 Western Baseball League.

He coached for the 1997 Clarksville Coyotes and made one appearance, allowing 2 runs in 1 2/3 innings on the mound. He also coached in the Colombian Winter League (1999-2002) and for the 2000 Tri-City Posse.

Catanoso then went to Italy as a coach and manager. He coached for the Italian national team in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup and 2007 European Championship. In 2008, he was part-time manager of Rimini. He managed the club through 2014, with appearances in the 2013 European Cup and 2014 European Cup. He then became coach of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School.
