• Born December 3, 1961

Gilberto Gerali pitched in Italy from 1985-1988, with a composite record of 7-5 with 2 saves. He then became a successful manager, guiding Parma to the Serie A1 title in 1996 and winning Manager of the Year honors in 2007. He led Parma to the 2010 Italian Series title as well. He was replaced at the end of 2012 by Orlando Muñoz). He coached for the Italian national team in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, 2010 European Championship (in which Italy won the Gold) and 2014 European Championship. His brother Michele Gerali has also played in Italy.
