2003 Oceania Championship
The 2003 Oceania Championship was the second Oceania Championship. The winner would face the African champion for a spot in the 2004 Olympics. Australia beat defending champion Guam 3 games to 1, winning 11-1 and 12-2, dropping a 9-2 upset then winning 5-1 to advance. Australia's team featured Adam Bright, Andrew Utting, Ben Wigmore, Brad Dutton, Brendan Kingman, Brendon Thomas, Calvin Chipperfield, Daniel Berg, Dan Floyd, Darren Fidge, Darren White, Gavin Fingleson, James Ramshaw, John Challinor, Matt Bennett, Matty Gahan, Shayne Bennett, Sam Tibbits and Todd Fairbrother.
Guam had Keith Hattig, Rico Castro, John Salas, Henry Santos III, Benjie Pangelinan, Dominic Cruz, Jimmy Reyes, Derrick Santos, Joe Tuquero, Roman Duenas, Matt Fernandez, Tatum Taitague, Joey Taijeron, Tommy Morrison, Steve Alcantara, Roke Alcantara Jr., Glen Fernandez, Ray Quintanilla, Cliff Raffael and Kin Fernandez.
