Biographical Information[edit]
Shayne Bennett pitched in parts of three seasons for the Montreal Expos, making 62 appearances to a 5.50 ERA in 1998. He later played for Australia at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. In the 1999 Intercontinental Cup, he was 3-0 with a 1.62 ERA as Australia won its first Gold Medal in a major international event. He led the Cup in wins.
