Biographical Information

Joe Tuquero was a regular with the Guam national team.

Tuquero was with Guam when they won Gold in the 1999 South Pacific Games. He was an infielder for them as they won the 1999 Oceania Championship. He hit .333 with six runs and two RBI when Guam won Gold in the 2003 South Pacific Games. He was 1 for 15 and fielded .842 in the 2003 Oceania Championship.

In the 2011 Pacific Games, he split third with Chad Palomo. Entering the Gold Medal Game, he was 1 for 8 with a walk, his hit coming off Louis Solaita. He fielded .727. He still hit 5th in the Gold Medal Game and came up big, going 2-for-3 with two walks and a RBI while handling five chances error-free but it was not enough in his team's 8-4 loss.
