Dominic Cruz
Biographical Information[edit]
Dominic Cruz played for the Guam national team that won Gold in the 1999 South Pacific Games. [1] In the 2003 Oceania Championship, he was 3 for 13 with a walk, run and a RBI but fielded .700. [2] Oddly, he did not play in either the 1999 Oceania Championship or 2003 South Pacific Games, making the team for the other event of the year both times. He was 2 for 9 when Guam when the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games but with 4 runs and 3 RBI; he tied for 5th in runs. [3] In the 2011 Pacific Games, he hit .188/.235/.188 with four runs in six games in the round-robin, fielding .867, while Guam won Silver. He helped turn five double plays to tie teammates Jim Reyes and Jathan Barnes for the lead. [4] He was 0 for 5 in the Gold Medal Game. [5]
