Biographical Information

Dominic Cruz played for the Guam national team that won Gold in the 1999 South Pacific Games. In the 2003 Oceania Championship, he was 3 for 13 with a walk, run and a RBI but fielded .700. Oddly, he did not play in either the 1999 Oceania Championship or 2003 South Pacific Games, making the team for the other event of the year both times. He was 2 for 9 when Guam when the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games but with 4 runs and 3 RBI; he tied for 5th in runs. In the 2011 Pacific Games, he hit .188/.235/.188 with four runs in six games in the round-robin, fielding .867, while Guam won Silver. He helped turn five double plays to tie teammates Jim Reyes and Jathan Barnes for the lead. He was 0 for 5 in the Gold Medal Game.
