Although the University of Richmond has (through 2015) had only 17 players come to the majors, some of them have been quite prominent. Brian Jordan and Sean Casey each have over 5,000 major league at-bats and Andy Allanson had over 1,000. Pitcher Lew Burdette had over 200 major league victories while Renie Martin had 24 wins along with 12 saves .
