Biographical Information[edit]
R.J. Thomas has been a college coach.
Thomas was a pitcher in college. He was assistant coach of Hendrix College in 2005 and became head coach in 2006. He set the school record with 22 wins in 2009, when the team became the first male Hendrix athletic club to win a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title. After the 2012 season, Thomas moved to Southwestern University as head coach from 2013 to 2017. He then resigned to become pitching coach at University of Richmond from 2018 to 2021. He returned to Hendrix as head coach in 2022.
