1972 CWS District Tournaments

The field of 28 teams in the 1972 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship is broken down into 1 6-team District Tournament, 3 4-team District Tournaments, 2 3-team District Tournaments, and 2 2-team District Tournaments. The District tournaments are double-elimination format. The winners of each District advance to the College World Series.
