Biographical Information

Ron Atkins was a college coach.

Atkins taught at J.R. Tucker High School for 17 years and coached there, winning over 80% of his games. He was then hired to coach the University of Richmond and was 714-540-4 from 1985-2007. He won three Conference Coach of the Year honors. He coached Sean Casey and Brian Jordan, Richmond's top MLB hitters (through 2019).
