In July 2001, United States International University merged with the California School of Professional Psychology to form Alliant International University. U.S. International had formerly been called California Western University until 1968. The U.S. International baseball team was a Division-I Independent from 1986 to 1991. Alliant University no longer supports athletics (as of 2007) and is currently graduate level school.
