Kevin Tahan pitched in the minor leagues and the Taiwan Major League.

Tahan was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 43th round of the 1989 Amateur Draft, and he hit .294/.406/.471 in 50 games for the AZL Cardinals in his first season. He slumped to .222/.319/.315 for the Savannah Cardinals in 1990, then he hit .263/.356/.421 in 97 games with the Springfield Cardinals in 1991. Tahan also played 13 games for the St. Petersburg Cardinals in '91, but his batting line was .130/.200/.130. He then hit .268/.348/.400 in Springfield in 1992, and he slumped to .154/.203/.246 for the Arkansas Travelers in 1993. Tahan left the Cardinals chain in 1994, and he recorded a .293/.377/.425 batting line for the Amarillo Dillas. He crushed 13 homers with a .333/.413/.514 batting line in 1995, and he set the Texas-Louisiana League record with 95 RBI. Tahan then batted .287/.373/.355 in 1996, and he had a .330/.477/.520 batting line with 9 homers for the Alexandria Aces in 1997. After hitting .312/.363/.404 in 39 games for the Mission Viejo Vigilantes in 1998, the Taichung Agan of Taiwan signed him in the middle of the season.
