George Kachigian

Biographical Information[edit]

George Kachigian has spent over 30 years in scouting. He signed Chris Carter, Addison Reed and Trayce Thompson for the Chicago White Sox.

Kachigian was also the head coach of U. S. International University from 1988 to 1991, when the school declared bankruptcy and shut down athletics. He had to fund-raise himself to pay for the 1991 schedule, and did not get paid for the season [1].

After one year of college, Kachigian spent 32 years in the Navy.
