Sioux Falls Canaries

The Sioux Falls Canaries were a founding member of the independent Northern League in 1993.They were named after several minor league teams that had played in Sioux Falls over the years. In 2010 they were renamed the Sioux Falls Pheasants, but this rebrand lasted only three years before the team returned to the "Canaries" name.
