Puerto Plata, Puerto Plata

Puerto Plata, officially called San Felipe de Puerto Plata, is the capital of Puerto Plata province, located on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. It is a major tourist destination because of its beaches and is located 60 miles northwest of Santiago, Santiago. Many players have been born here, although for a number of them, their birthplace is an unnamed settlement in the province of Puerto Plata and not the city itself.
