Team History[edit]
The Naranjeros de Hermosillo (Orange Growers) have been a winter league powerhouse for decades. Their 18 league titles since the modern era began in 1958 are the most in league history. In 1976, the Orange Growers won the Caribbean Series for the first time; guiding them was legendary manager Benjamin Reyes. The Series MVP was Héctor Espino. They won their second title in 2014, when they were managed by Matt Carrillo and the MVP was Chris Roberson. Curt Schilling and Larry Walker are some other Notable alumni.
