The DSL Yankees represented the New York Yankees in the Dominican Summer League from 1989 to 1990 and 1994 to 2001, then were replaced by the DSL Yankees 1 and DSL Yankees 2 from 2002 to 2016 and again 2021. The Yankees previously supplied players to the 1991 DSL Yankees/Mets and 1992-1993 DSL Yankees/Padres. In 2022 the team was brought back to replace DSL Yankees 1, this time along with the DSL Bombers replacing DSL Yankees 2.

Players have included Ruben Rivera, Manny Acosta, Erick Almonte and Ramiro Mendoza.
