Biographical Information[edit]
Selwyn Langaigne played in the minor leagues from 1994 through 2007. Starting out in the Dominican Summer League, he reached AAA in 2000 and spent part of 2001 there. He played mostly for independent league teams from 2003-2007. Langaigne hit .357/.357/.393 for the Tigres de Aragua in the 2008 Caribbean Series and made the tournament All-Star team as the center fielder. He will join Danesi Nettuno in Italy in 2008.
Langaigne became a coach with the DSL Mariners in 2017, DSL Yankees in 2019, DSL Yankees 2 in 2021, DSL Bombers in 2022, and DSL Yankees again in 2023-2024.
