Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Teuris Olivares played in the New York Yankees' chain from 1996 to 2004 and in the independent leagues from 2005 to 2010. He hit .200/.194/.233 and fielded .905 as the main Dominican shortstop in the 2001 Baseball World Cup.
Olivares was a coach for the DSL Yankees 1 in 2011-2012, DSL Yankees 2 in 2013, DSL Yankees 1 in 2014, Staten Island Yankees in 2015-2017, Pulaski Yankees in 2018-2019, DSL Yankees 1 in 2021, DSL Yankees in 2022, and DSL Bombers in 2023.
