History, Comments, Contributions[edit]
Coming off two successive division titles followed by quick postseason exits, the 2021 Minnesota Twins began the season in mourning, as bench coach Mike Bell passed away from cancer at age 46 on March 26th, just as spring training was winding down. He had undergone an operation in January and the Twins had announced in February that he would not be able to be present in Florida as he was fighting kidney cancer, but he lost the battle.
