2001 All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series
The 2001 All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series was played at Meiji-Jingu Stadium from June 12 to June 20. Champions from 26 college leagues participated in the tournament while the Hokkaido Prefecture and the Okinawa Prefecture gained two extra spots. Tokai University from the Tokyo Metropolitan Area University Baseball League beat Nihon University from the Tohto University Base Ball League and won the championship.
