Sapporo Gakusei League
Sapporo Gakusei League was founded in 1990. It has three divisions, each division having 6 schools. The first-place finishers of the second and third division can have a chance to advance by playing a 3-game series with the last place of the higher division due to promotion and relegation. The Spring Champion represents the League at the All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series, and the Fall Champion earns a spot in the "Meiji-Jingu Hokkaido University Tournament". They then play with the fall champion from the Hokkaido Universities Baseball League, fighting for a spot in the Meiji Jingu Baseball Convention.
