Keiji University Baseball League
The Keiji University Baseball League was founded in 1950 with the name "Kyoto Big 6 University Baseball League", and it changed to its present name after Shiga University joined in 1956. It was the second division of the Kansai6 Baseball League from 1962 to 1980. It has two divisions, each having 6 schools. The first-place finishers of the second division can have a chance to advance by playing a 3-game series with the last place of the higher division due to promotion and relegation. The spring champion represents the league at the All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series, and the fall champion can advance to the "Kansai University Tournament". They then play the teams from the Kansai Big Six University League, Hanshin University Baseball League, Kinki University Baseball League and Kansai6 Baseball League, fighting for a spot in the Meiji Jingu Baseball Convention.
