North Tohoku Universities Baseball Federation
North Tohoku Universities Baseball Federation was founded in 1991. It has three divisions, and the first place finishers of the second and third division can have a chance to advance by playing a 3-game series with the last place of the higher division due to promotion and relegation. The first and the second divisions have 6 schools, and the third has 4 schools. The Spring Champion represents the League to attend the All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series, and the Fall Champion earns a spot in the "Meiji-Jingu Tohoku University Tournament". They will play with the fall champion from the Sendai Big-Six Universities Baseball League and Minami Tohoku Universities Baseball League, fighting for a spot in the Meiji Jingu Baseball Convention.
