Hokuriku Universities Baseball League
The Hokuriku Universities Baseball League was founded in 1968. It has two divisions, each division having 6 schools. The first-place finishers of the second division can have a chance to advance by playing a 3-game series with the last place of the higher division due to promotion and relegation. The spring champion represents the league at the All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series, and the the top two schools of the fall season earn spots in the "Tokai-Hokuriku-Aichi University Tournament". They then play with the teams from the Tokai University Baseball League and Baseball Association In Aichi, fighting for a spot in the Meiji Jingu Baseball Convention. The Fukui University of Technology rules this league, winning more than 80 percent of the champions as of 2024.
