Kanagawa University Baseball League
The Kanagawa University Baseball League was formed in 1958. It has two divisions; each division has 6 schools. The first-place finishers of the second division can have a chance to advance by playing a 3-game series with the last place of the higher division due to promotion and relegation. The spring champion can earn a spot in the All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series, and the top two schools of the fall season can advance to the Kanto University Tournament. They then play against teams from the Kankoshin Student Baseball Federation, Chiba Prefecture University Baseball League, Tokyo Metropolitan Area University Baseball League and New Tokyo University Baseball League and fight for a spot in the Meiji Jingu Baseball Convention.
