Hanshin University Baseball League
The Hanshin University Baseball League was founded in 1955, and it was the second division of the Kansai6 Baseball League from 1962 to 1980. It has two divisions, the first division has 6 schools and the other has 12. The Second Division was divided to two regions, and the winner of each league play a 2-game series to determine the division champion. The first-place finishers of the second division can have a chance to advance by playing a 3-game series with the last-place team of the higher division due to promotion and relegation. The spring champion represents the league at the All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series, and the fall champion can advance to the "Kansai University Tournament". They then play the teams from the Kansai Big Six University League, Kinki University Baseball League, Keiji University Baseball League and Kansai6 Baseball League, fighting for a spot in the Meiji Jingu Baseball Convention.
