1993 Southeastern Conference Tournament
From 1993 to 1995, the Southeastern Conference attempted to get 2 automatic qualifiers to the NCAA tournament by holding 2 tournaments, one for the Eastern Division and one for the Western Division. The NCAA declined, instead giving the automatic bid to the division winner with the highest overall winning position.
The Eastern Division baseball tournament was held at Sarge Frye Field in Columbia, SC. #1 University of Tennessee defeated #3 University of Kentucky for the title. Tennessee's Todd Helton was named Tournament MVP.
The Western Division baseball tournament was held at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge, LA. #1 Louisiana State University defeated #3 Mississippi State University for the title. LSU's Harry Berrios was named Tournament MVP.
