Biographical Information[edit]

Hal Baird pitched for six years in the minor leagues (1971-1976), 4 of them at AAA, with a 25-16 composite record.

Baird was an assistant coach at East Carolina University from 1977 to 1979 and head coach from 1980 to 1984. He was then head coach of Auburn University from 1985 to 2000, leading the Tigers to the College World Series in 1994 and 1997.
