The 1993 International League season was the 108th in the league's history, and ended with the Charlotte Knights winning the Governors' Cup in their inaugural season.
With the National League expanding this year, the IL expanded to Ottawa and Charlotte. Ottawa was the first Canadian team in the IL since the departure of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1967 as the league finally became international again; Ottawa promptly set a record for attendance.
