Biographical Information

Tommy Hinzo was signed as a 7th round pick in the 1986 amateur draft by the Cleveland Indians and scout Eddie Bane. he had earlier been the 3rd overall selection in the January 1984 amateur draft by the Indians but had not signed.

On March 18, 1990 he was traded by the Indians with a player to be named later (Dwight Taylor) to the Atlanta Braves for Jeff Wetherby and minor leaguer Miguel Sabino.
