1962 NAIA Area Tournaments

The winners of the 1962 NAIA Districts either advanced to an Area Tournament or were up for selection by the Area committee. The Areas are geographically grouped. The top team in each Area advances to the 1962 NAIA College World Series.

Area 1

Portland State College from District 2 was chosen by the Area 1 committee as the representative in the CWS. Other districts in the area were District 3 (Westmont College - 1st alternate) and District 1 (Western Washington State College - 2nd alternate).

Lewis College from District 20 was chosen by the Area 6 committee as the representative in the CWS. Other districts in the area were District 21 (Indiana, champion - ??), District 22 (Ohio, champion - ??) and District 23 (Michigan, champion - ??).
