Pacific Coast International League

From BR Bullpen

The Pacific Coast International League was a class B league based in the northwest United States and British Columbia that was in operation from 1918-1922, under several names. Both the Spokane and Tacoma clubs disbanded on May 26, 1918. On June 25, 1918 the Vancouver, BC team moved south to Vancouver, WA. The league suspended operations on July 7 due to World War I. In 1919 the league was known as the Northwest International League. Returning to its original name, the league played for two more years before changing its name to the Western International League for a single year (1922) before collapsing.
