British Columbia
British Columbia is the westernmost province of Canada, and its third largest in population. It has been the home of several minor league teams based in Vancouver. It lies on the Pacific Ocean and has land borders with the states of Alaska, Washington, Idaho and Montana. Its capital is Victoria, located on Vancouver Island, but its largest city is the port city of Vancouver, on the mainland, although its suburb of Surrey is expected to overtake it at some point. The most notable player from British Columbia is Larry Walker.
