Biographical Information[edit]
Bob Brown played mostly in the Pacific Northwest, starting with the Helena Senators in 1900. He played through 1910, when he bought the Vancouver Beavers. He owned various Vancouver teams until selling in 1945. Brown built two stadiums in Vancouver for his teams, Athletic Park in 1913 and Capilano Stadium in 1951. He served as president of the Western International League in 1953. In 1989, he was posthumously inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
