Team History[edit]

From 1997 to 2002 the Oakland A's operated two California League teams, including the Modesto A's. In 2000 the Visalia Oaks beat Modesto in the playoffs. In 2002 Modesto beat Visalia. In 2005 they were renamed the Modesto Nuts.
