The University of Maryland was known as Maryland Agricultural College until 1916 and Maryland State College until 1920. Notable players include Fred Anderson, Tom Bradley, James Casey, Brett Cecil, Buck Herzog, Vic Keen, Charlie Keller, Lou Sleater, Brandon Lowe, Eric Milton, Jim Norris, Ron Swoboda and Bob Unglaub.
