1986 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament

The 1986 Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament was held at Durham Athletic Park in Durham, NC. 1986 saw the tournament move from mid-April to mid-May. Duke school policy did not allow the team to compete after final exams ended, which was on April 28. #2 Georgia Institute of Technology defeated #1 North Carolina State University for the title. 1st Baseman Jeff Distasio of Georgia Tech was named tournament MVP.
