Biographical Information[edit]

Kalson Dulei was on the Palau national team that won Gold in the 2007 South Pacific Games. [1] In the 2011 Pacific Games, he tossed a gem in the opener against the eventual champion Northern Mariana Islands, not allowing a run through eight but was matched zero-for-zero by Josh Jones. He finally cracked in the 9th when Eric Tenorio walked, Keoni Lizama singled and Tyrone Omar drove in Tenorio. He also pitched well in a loss to Silver Medal winner Guam and John Pangelinan, allowing four hits and four runs (one earned) in a complete game. When not pitching, Dulei played right field and hit .167/.375/.167 with four walks and three steals (caught once) in five games. He finished 0-2 despite a 1.04 ERA as Palau got the Bronze. He tied for third in the event in walks drawn (behind Lieb Bells and Christophe Jajha), tied for sixth in steals, was ninth in ERA (between Jacques Levy and L'Amour Arurang), was 8th in opponent average (.185, between Roke Alcantara Jr. and Emosi Gotegote), placed fourth in innings pitched (between Sébastien Lepouriel and Elton Santos) and tied for first in losses (with Lepouriel, Pemerika Mahuka and Sanail Colainima).
